Doodling and making digital artwork quickly became one of my favorite pandemic hobbies. Below are some of my creations (they are also scattered across this website!). Some are research-related, and some are just for fun.

This one is inspired by the attention capture task I used for my dissertation. Participants were asked to detect the target butterfly. On some trials, task-irrelevant faces appeared as distractors. We found that some types of faces captured attention and interfered with butterfly detection to a greater extent than others.

Thanks to online pandemic science, I tested kids all across the country for my dissertation. I ended up meeting with families from 20 different states (+ Canada) over Zoom!

Inspired by my work investigated how rewarding faces may automatically capture eye gaze. The outline of this face is actually of my mom!
